Yes. As long as all learners are from the same family, you can use one package—just enter the correct learner’s details when booking each lesson.

Packages are valid for two years from the date of purchase.

We offer pick-up and drop-off in Riverside, Prospect, Youngtown, St Leonards, and Newnham. If you’re outside these areas, please choose a convenient meeting spot such as Riverside Pool, Kings Meadows Bunnings, Prospect Market Place, Target Mowbray, Riverbend Park, Royal Park (Park St), or Morty’s in the city.

No. Both our vehicles—the Subaru XV and Subaru Crosstrek—are automatic.

Yes. We offer lessons in our automatic vehicles to cover everything required to prepare for your manual P assessment.

Yes. We recommend starting in an automatic to gain road experience, build confidence, and develop safe driving habits. Once you’re comfortable with vehicle control, you can switch to learning manual gear changes.

No. While cheaper lessons exist, we focus on value for money—quality instruction, clear improvement, and a positive learning experience. Just check out our reviews.

Yes. Our teaching uses a repetition-based approach to build muscle memory. Every lesson is tailored to your current level, progressing at your own pace as you master each skill.

Absolutely! For beginners, we start in a carpark to teach the basics of steering and foot control. Our instructors know quiet areas in most suburbs for a safe and gentle start on the road.

Yes. Both Nxtgen vehicles have dual control pedals, giving instructors access to a second brake if needed.

NXTGEN Driving Instructor

Stacey is the founder, director and instructor at Nxtgen Driving School, and will provide a quality learn-to-drive experience for the next generation of young drivers on our roads.

As a mother of two young children, she realises how important a safe and positive learning environment is to help educate and equip our youth with essential skills for life that reach beyond obtaining a licence.

A very friendly and calm professional who promotes a proactive style of driving, Stacey instils good technique and etiquette in every client to ensure they are aware there is much more to driving than simply what is right in front of them.

Stacey is a certified instructor with over 20 years driving knowledge and extensive customer service experience in the Tasmanian Health Service.

1hr = 2 hrs in your logbook up to a max of 10 lessons!
